Summer League Week 10 Report
GROUP A Three Tuns got the result they needed to win this group by the slender margin of one point. They ran out 8-0 winners at the Rickerscote C. The Staffs Bull B ended their campaign with a 6-2 win at the Highfields and finish third.
GROUP B The Hop Pole managed to hold onto 2nd place after they ran away with a 7-1 success over the Lord Nelson. The Tap and Spile achieved an identical score over the New Vic that left them trailing by one point but they receive a bye into the quarter-finals of the Plate for being the best placed 3rd place team.
GROUP C The Rickerscote A won this group with a 6-2 victory at the Albion and receive a bye into the quarter-finals whereas the Bird were held to a 4-4 draw at home to the Crooked Cue A
GROUP D The Hop Pole C won 6-2 at Rileys and won this group unbeaten and so receive a bye into the quarters. The Island B ended their campaign with a 6-2 success at home to the Ricky B and claim 3rd place.
GROUP E The Rickerscote won the top of the table clash against the Island A 5-3 and also get a bye into the quarter-finals. The Island A also qualified whereas the Bushes A missed out after they secured a 5-3 win at the Forester.
